Enriching its portfolio with yet another top-quality model, the new Sony Ericsson Z610i, has made Sony Ericsson a cynosure of discussion in the mobile market. This sleek clamshell phone is as much a design icon, as a serious smart phone. Available in three colours- pink, blue and black, the phone has a glossy sleek finish that alludes to a mirror. The impressive external screen is discreet and does not really break the magic, till a call, SMS or calendar event is at a display. A camera lens mounts on the front cover, while the keypad (hidden below) is one of the best in the market.
The external camera is of 2 mega pixel and is quite competent. But capturing photos in a dimly lit place would pose a problem, as the phone lacks a flash. Sony Ericsson Z610i also has a video camera and supports video calling to other compatible devices. Further, Dj application allows you to edit the video clips. SE Z610i has an excellent Mp3 player that is compatible to all the popular format. It can also handle Mp3 ringtones. To ensure that you are always surrounded by music, the phone also has a flight mode (where you can continue to listen to the music, even when the reception of the cell is off). Additionally, it has a controlled button for music selection and play.
